About & privacy
L-PRES PVS — the field application of the Private Veterinary Support Programme.
The service delivered and clinical findings; species and number of animals attended; programme inputs used; a photograph taken live on the device camera; GPS position and accuracy; the device time of capture and the server time of receipt; and the identity of the signed-in service provider and their premise. Farmer details are registered by the programme, not in this application.
To deliver veterinary services to registered farmers, to account for programme inputs supplied by L-PRES, and to allow every intervention to be independently verified — so that the programme can demonstrate that resources reached real farmers. Records are never sold.
Consent is read to the farmer and confirmed before any record is saved, and the date and time of that consent are stored with the record. A farmer may ask for their records to be corrected or removed by contacting the programme.
Photographs can only be taken live on the camera — images cannot be selected from the phone gallery, and every photograph is stamped with the date, time, place name and GPS coordinates at the moment it was taken. A service record cannot be saved at all without that stamped photograph and a GPS position. Records cannot be edited or deleted after saving; corrections are made by adding a new record. Every premise can see only its own farmers and records.
